Open LinkedIn and count the taps to your saved posts. It is not one. It is your profile, then a menu, then a list with no search box, no labels, no sorting worth the name, and no way to get anything out.
Then scroll it. Somewhere in there is the post you have been trying to find for two weeks. You will not find it, because the only tool you have is scrolling, and scrolling is how the thing got saved in the first place.
The save button is not a filing cabinet
It looks like storage. It behaves like a snooze button. Saving is what you do instead of reading properly, which means saves accumulate at exactly the rate you are too busy to process them.
That is not a bug in your discipline. It is what happens when the capture action is one tap and the retrieval action is unbounded scrolling. The two sides of the loop are wildly mismatched, so the pile only ever grows.
A save is a promise to your future self, made with a button that has no idea who that person is.
Why it stays that way
Not conspiracy, incentives. A feed product is measured on time in the feed. A well-organised save library sends you out of the feed, into your own material, on purpose. There is no version of the roadmap where that wins the quarter.
So saves get exactly the amount of product attention the metric justifies: a button, a list, and nothing else. Every network works this way. It is not personal.
We had already built this once
Before LinkedMash we built Tweetsmash, which does the same job for Twitter bookmarks. Same complaint, different network: people were saving hundreds of things into a hole.
What surprised us there was which feature people paid for. Not the AI. The exports. Notion, Sheets, a plain CSV. The thing users actually wanted was for their saves to stop being trapped, and to end up somewhere they already worked.
That is the lesson we carried into LinkedMash, and it is why the integrations are not an afterthought bolted on for a pricing page. Getting your material out is the product.
What we decided to build instead
Four things, in the order they matter:
- Get them out of LinkedIn. One import, then it keeps up automatically. Nothing else can happen until this does.
- Make them findable. Full-text and semantic search, labels, filters. Findable is the entire difference between a library and a pile.
- Send them where you work. Notion, Google Sheets, Airtable, Miro, CSV, PDF, an API, an MCP server. Your saves should not need a visit to our app to be useful.
- Make them into something. Drafting and scheduling from your own library, because the point of keeping good material was always to write something better with it.
That order is deliberate. Plenty of tools start at step four and generate posts from nothing. It reads like it, too.
The honest version of the pitch
We are not claiming your saved posts are a goldmine. Most of them are not. Perhaps one in twenty is worth returning to, and you cannot tell which one at save time.
That is precisely why the pile has to be searchable. You are not organising treasure. You are making sure that when the one good thing turns out to matter, you can still put your hands on it.

Why can I not search my LinkedIn saved posts?
LinkedIn never built it. Saves get one reverse-chronological list with no search, folders or tags, because a well-organised save library sends people out of the feed, which is not what a feed product is measured on.
Can I export my saved posts from LinkedIn?
Not from LinkedIn itself: there is no built-in export and no public saved-posts API. A tool like LinkedMash imports them, after which they export to Notion, Sheets, Airtable, Miro, CSV, JSON or PDF.
What happens to my saved post if the author deletes it?
It vanishes from your list, because LinkedIn stores a pointer rather than a copy. An exported or synced copy is the only version that survives the author deleting, editing or going private.
