How to sync LinkedIn saved posts to Airtable

Airtable is the right destination when saved LinkedIn posts are not just references. They are records your team will assign, score, group into views, and move through a workflow.

The slow version is a shared base that someone updates by hand. The LinkedMash sync removes that intake work: new saved posts become Airtable records with their source fields and available media.

Connect LinkedIn saved posts to Airtable

   Import your saves with the LinkedMash extension. The Airtable integration writes from the imported LinkedMash library.

   Open [Airtable Sync](/integrations/sync/airtable) and copy the LinkedMash Posts base template into your Airtable workspace.

   Return to LinkedMash, start the Airtable connection, and authorize access to the duplicated LinkedMash Posts base. Selecting another base without the expected table and fields will not give the sync a valid target.

   Let the initial sync finish, then use the integration page to view, refresh, or reconnect it. New saved posts continue to create records after the connection is active.

   

Fields written by the sync

The Airtable record includes Post, Post Link, Author, Post Posted at, Tags, Post Image, Post Video, Post Document, App Imported Time, Created at, and Post Id. Tags are a list. Media fields receive attachment URLs when the imported post has them.

Add your team fields beside those, for example Owner, Status, Campaign, Takeaway, and Reuse Permission. That keeps source data separate from decisions your team makes later.

Filter which records reach each base

Recipes can match an author, LinkedMash label, or keyword before a post reaches Airtable. That lets one connected base hold competitor research while another receives client evidence or campaign examples. Prefix a keyword with ! when a term should be excluded.

• Label filters reuse the organization already applied in LinkedMash.
• Keyword filters catch a topic even when you forgot to label the post.
• Separate recipes can feed separate bases or workflows without mixing teams.

Limits to plan around

• The template field names and types are part of the connection. Renaming or deleting required fields can break record creation.
• Attachment fields depend on media URLs being reachable when Airtable fetches them.
• A destination sync is not the same as an offline archive. Use CSV, JSON, or PDF when you need a file you control.
• LinkedMash adds source records. Airtable automations, permissions, interfaces, and billing remain controlled by your Airtable workspace.
