**Short answer:** when LinkedIn saved posts are not showing, it is usually one of four things. You are signed into a different account, you are looking in the wrong filter, the list has not finished loading, or the author deleted the post. A save is a link to someone else's post, not a copy, so a deleted post leaves your list for good. LinkedIn does not publish a limit on how many posts you can save.

This guide assumes you know where the list lives. If you cannot find the saved list at all, start with [how to find your LinkedIn saved posts](/how-to-find-linkedin-saved-posts). Come back here if the list opens and something you saved is not in it.

## First, work out which problem you have

The fix depends on what you are seeing. These look similar from the outside and have different causes.

- **The whole list is empty.** Almost always the wrong account, or a page that did not load.
- **The list loads but one post is missing.** Usually the wrong filter, a list that has not scrolled far enough, or a deleted post.
- **The list is stuck loading or blank.** A browser, extension or app issue on your side.
- **You saw it on your phone but not on desktop, or the other way round.** It is one list per account, so this points at the account or the app, not the device.

## Fixes to try, in order

Start at the top. Each step is quicker than the one after it, and the first three solve most cases.

1. **Check which account you are in.** If you have a personal and a work LinkedIn account, your saves belong to the one you were using when you saved. Look at the profile photo in the top bar. Switching accounts is the most common reason a full list suddenly looks empty.
2. **Open the direct URL.** Go to `linkedin.com/my-items/saved-posts` while signed in. LinkedIn moves the menu entry from time to time, and older guides describe routes that no longer exist. The URL has kept working through those changes.
3. **Switch between All and Articles.** The list has two filters at the top. Long-form LinkedIn articles are easier to spot under **Articles**. If a save you remember is missing from All, check Articles before assuming it is gone.
4. **Scroll further than feels reasonable.** The list is newest first and loads in batches as you scroll. Something you saved months ago is not on the page until you have scrolled down to it. Ctrl+F will not find it before then, because the text is not loaded yet.
5. **Reload in a clean browser window.** Refresh and confirm you are still signed in. If the list stays blank, open a private window with extensions off. Ad and script blockers can stop the list from rendering. If it still fails, wait a few minutes and try again.
6. **Reset the app if only the app is wrong.** Update the LinkedIn app, then force close and reopen it. On Android you can also clear the app cache in your phone settings. On iPhone, signing out and back in does a similar job. Then check the same list on desktop to confirm whether the save really is gone.

## Why a saved post disappeared

If the list works and one specific post is missing, this is usually the reason. LinkedIn stores a pointer to the post, not a copy of it. Your save only works while the original is still there and still visible to you.

So the save vanishes when the author deletes the post, restricts who can see it, or closes their account. There is no trash folder and no way to restore it inside LinkedIn. Nothing went wrong on your side.

The other common cause is an accidental unsave. Unsave sits in the same three-dot menu as Save, so it is easy to tap on a phone. If you can find the post again, open the three-dot menu and choose **Save** again.

**Where to look before giving up**

Open the author's profile and check their recent activity, in case they reposted it. Check your browser history for the post URL. Search LinkedIn for a distinctive phrase you remember. None of these bring back a deleted post, but they catch the cases where it was only unsaved or moved.

## Is there a limit on LinkedIn saved posts?

LinkedIn does not publish one. Its help page on saving content explains how to save and unsave posts and lists no maximum. If your saves stopped appearing, a limit is not the first thing to suspect. Work through the fixes above instead.

Saved jobs are a different list. They live in LinkedIn's jobs area, so a job you saved will never show up in Saved posts and articles.

The limit people actually hit is practical. The saved list has no search box, no folders and no tags. Past a few hundred saves, finding one post means scrolling. That is a separate problem with its own answer: [how to search your LinkedIn saved posts](/blog/search-linkedin-saved-posts).

## How to stop losing saved posts

You cannot stop authors from deleting their posts. You can keep your own copy of the text, so a deletion stops costing you anything.

> A save is a link to someone else's post. A copy is yours.

LinkedIn has no built-in export for saved posts. LinkedMash imports your saved list into a private library and keeps its own copy of each imported post. It does not change your LinkedIn list.

- **The text survives.** An imported or exported post stays readable after the author deletes the original.
- **You can search it.** Full-text and AI search run against what each post says, with filters by author, year and post type.
- **You can take it with you.** [Export your saved posts](/export-linkedin-saved-posts) as CSV, JSON or PDF, or sync them to Notion, Google Sheets, Airtable or Miro. The [CSV walkthrough](/blog/download-linkedin-saved-posts-csv) shows what a spreadsheet export looks like.

Every account starts with a 7-day trial, no card required. Free accounts can import and read their saved posts. Unlimited exports are on Premium or the one-off Exports Pass. See [pricing](/pricing) for the current plans.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why are my LinkedIn saved posts not showing?

Usually because you are signed into a different account, you are in the All filter when the save was an article, or the list has not loaded that far yet. Open linkedin.com/my-items/saved-posts while signed into the right account and scroll down.

### Why did a saved post disappear from my LinkedIn saved list?

LinkedIn saves a link to the post, not a copy. If the author deletes it, restricts who can see it, or closes their account, it leaves your saved list and cannot be restored inside LinkedIn.

### Is there a limit to how many posts you can save on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn does not publish one. Its help page on saving content lists no maximum. If saves are missing, check the account, the filter and whether the post was deleted before suspecting a limit.

### How do I keep a saved post if the author deletes it?

Keep your own copy of the text. LinkedIn has no saved-posts export, so you need a tool that imports your saves and exports them as CSV, JSON or PDF, or syncs them to a notes app.
